Double click to open folder on GNOME does not work

im using a touchpad on gnome, and everytime i try to open up a folder, the folder simply does not open. I have to right click and open. I've only seen a solution on KDE, can someone help me?

Hi,

What is the garuda-inxi? Im new to garuda...I'm using the standart file browser (nautilus) and when i change to open a file with a single click it works, but with double click it doenst. PS: The double click also doenst work on files such as .zip, .mp4 etc.

Another thing is that i kinda need the double click to work because im trying to set-up the epsxe, and i can't open the BIOS folder.

Hi,

I've already try that. When i set to double click the folder don't open. Only when i set to single click it works.

I've just installed another file browser and the double click doesn't work there either. I don't think its a software error, i might be wrong....im open to suggestions.

About the off topic suggestion, i would need to complete reinstall my system to change to KDE dragonized right?

I just saw another topic talking about this. I will reinstall the OS and use KDE. Thanks for the help.

Try restarting your Pc you havent restarted after a update

I just did and remains the same.

Ah Sorry, I saw touchpad and for some reasons I assumed you needed single click.
Could it be a matter of click Speed? See e.g.
