Doesn't connect to 5Ghz Wifi directly

I have given you multiple suggestions from testing different kernels, firmware, driver options, or grub boot parameters to correct your issue. I also asked you to test an LXQT live boot disk to see if wifi worked correctly there. You have done nothing I've suggested so far.

I asked you to do some research as there are many known fixes for this adapter. You have basically done nothing on your own after opening this help request. It is impossible for others to fix your issue for you. You must do the troubleshooting for yourself. We are not at your computer. We can not do this for you.

You must start testing different known fixes for your wifi adapter yourself. You haven't even tested an alternate kernel such as the LTS kernel as I suggested yet. Keep detailed notes of all changes and post your troubleshooting effort in detail in a week.

I am locking your thread for a week to give you a chance to do some research, test known fixes and do some work yourself. Do not expect everyone else to do for you. You need to do some work for yourself my friend.

You can't go out, but you can do your own research and troubleshooting at home.

Thread will be reopened in a week.

This user claims the settings are not changeable in the router. Otherwise the easiest fix as already suggested is to lower the 5 GHz channel to 40 or below.
