DKMS didn't build after adding new kernel

I didn't have a smooth time due to my DKMS modules when adding a new kernel via Garuda Settings. I added linux-amd-znver2 and upon reboot didn't have an OBS virtual cam (v4l2loopback-dkms) or a functional VirtualBox (virtualbox-host-dkms).

It was my impression that modules would be built for a new kernel automatically, but they were not. Should they have been? If no, why?

My solution was to reinstall the results of pacman -Qq | grep -- -dkms

Comments on the kernel:

Switched from Zen and had consistent differences in both Overwatch 2 and Guild Wars 2. I got a boost of ~15fps in general, a reduction of ~10ms (more sometimes!) per frame, and MUCH less jitter in intense scenes! A completely tangible difference in performance! I highly encourage everyone with Zen2 architecture to give it a look.

Thanks for requesting its addition to Chaotic-AUR in the first place @FGD! I would have never considered it otherwise.

Yep that's what I thought. I tried that as well, unsuccessfully.

EDIT: I can reproduce that failure still:

Error! Could not locate dkms.conf file.
File: /var/lib/dkms/hid-nintendo/3.2/source/dkms.conf does not exist.

I don't think I have Nintendo related anything.
