Discord/Equibop/Vesktop not working after big update

Hello! I hadnt updated in quite a long time and my PC was on X11. I recently updated and now have Wayland. When I try to open Discord/Equibop/Vesktop they all show a blank screen. Toast messages will appear but nothing else will.

âś… System health check passed. No issues found.

Looking for any help here as following a long list of suggested fixes has not worked. I have rolled back and updated since then to undo all of the changes. Is there anything else you need from me aside from the inxi posted above. Thank you for your time and thank you for any help in advance.

Maybe try this:

Alternatively, you can still use x11:

sudo pacman -S plasma-x11-session

Then, in the login screen, select “Plasma (x11)”.

Beside you should definitely update your BIOS to the latest version.

Totally forgot about updating that. Ty for saving me time with the link too. 3am about to head to bed but ill do that first thing.

I installed that VAAPI which was not installed prior but it did not fix the issue. Its not working in X11 now either and I’m getting errors trying to install.
I’d like to stay on Wayland because my games and everything else works better.

Appreciate your time. ill get the bios updated in the morning.

Got it updated now.
