how do I disable it the right way? some apps dont have close/max/min buttons, so i assumed there is a script or something disabling it on some apps on garuda.
I'm talking about the top menu with the app options and what not, like what MacOS has.
I've done some search and didnt find anything relevant, just people saing to delete it.
Not sure how to say, but it feels like I'm just stupid.

First of all, you’d want to disable this:

Then, customize the top Latte dock to your liking (right-click → edit panel), probably remove window buttons, title, menu. Alternately you can remove both docks and start with a default KDE panel.

i tried it and once i log in its reverted bacck to true. I'm doing:

sudo nano ~/.config/kwinrc

and editing:

[Windows]
BorderlessMaximizedWindows=true

to:

[Windows]
BorderlessMaximizedWindows=false

but when i log back in its set to true again

You are quite right! This used to work. But this latte dock setting works for me: Tips & Tricks · psifidotos/Latte-Dock Wiki · GitHub
Sorry for the misleading suggestion. Haven't drank latte in a while! :coffee:
