How do I disable the panel transparencies on Garuda Dragonized? The Desktop Effects/Accessibility controls don’t seem to do anything and the theme itself can’t be edited to remove the transparency.

you can disable transparency, left mouse button on the desktop/panel, enter edit mode, on each panel there is a setting icon, click on it and you will find everything you need, you can set transparent, opaque and mixed. Names may slightly vary (I don’t use english in my kde), also I’m going by memory and sadly I’m not on my pc with linux right now, if you still can’t find it I’ll be more precise tomorrow.

you can change the application style
here or

you can remove it from kvantum

you can also download solid kvantum themes from pling an solve it that way too

Thank you. I did not know I had to use a separate configuration manager for the kvantum theme and was trying everything through system settings.

That also explains why the desktop effects were ignored when I tried to disable blur and translucency against everywhere.

Switching to the Breeze application style (which I tried after posting) and editing it’s application style to not include transparent windows did nothing.

the other thing you can do is change the plasma style to one that’s solid if you click get new you can find more.

the last suggestion I have is to fully swap to the breeze global them then change stuff from there

for the arrows in red you will want to keep then checked for the top orange one if you want a more normal plasma /windows ish layout you can add it but note the only ez way to go back to the old layout is though clicking on the dragonized one an doing the same. As always its plasma though an you can make it look how ever you wish with a little time.

Thank you for your help! Kvantum Manager was the solutions!
