Dialog boxes in wrong location and wrong size

I’ve noticed on more than one OS including Garuda that after a period of time dialog boxes do not popup where they should and are much larger than they should be. For example when I connect my phone and the devices one opens it’s in the center of the screen instead of the upper right corner and much larger than it should be. I click on shutdown Or Switch and it’s dialog box opens in the right spot on the screen but much larger than it should be. Same with clicking the Application Launcher as the devices dialog. When I’m copying or movie files / folders the indicator only show on the main virtual desktop instead of all of them like it should.

Is Fractional scaling enabled ? Also might wanna try x11 to see if the use still exists there. Might also wanna try the mainline linux kernel with nvidia-open-dkms drivers as an attempt.

After one issue with x11 that would be a no go cause I’m not willing to see if that issue pops back up. As for kerner or video driver no this would be a out and out Plasma issue.

Might wanna at least try nvidia-open-dkms drivers if not the kernel. Might work ? Who knows ?

I finally figured out what the story is on this. See my bug report below. Posting for others that may run into this issue.

One final note I assigned Desktop And Wallpaper settings page to only be on the Applications desktop and when a drive is plugged in or copying files the popup for devices or copying only appears on the applications desktop. Allowing Desktop And Wallpaper to open on whatever desktop I happen to be on allow both the devices popup and copy / move notifications to appear on all desktops again. Something is definitely like that was prior to Plasma 6.1.
