Defective hardware | Crashes after loading save in some games

Hello Garuda users.

After installing Garuda, I faced a problem I am currently unable to overcome. I installed 3 Games, 2 on the Heroic Games Launcher Lifeless Planet and Pine and one on Steam Wolfenstein II The New Colossus.
Lifeless Planet seems to be working fine, but Pine and Wolfenstein II The New Colossus both cause the PC to crash after I load or create a save (The menus are no problem).
Sometimes The system restarts and sometimes (a lot less often) the Fans go on 100% Speed the screens stay black, the PC stays on and nothing else happens.

There are also some less important thinks that don’t work. For Example some appearance settings are not saved in the console and my keyboard layout gets changed to English(us).

[UPDATE] Lifeless Planet crashes after running around for a bit

What I have tried:
System update
Reinstall all packages
Refresh keyrings
Remove orphans
Clear cache
Switched from Plasma X11 to Plasma Wayland
I might have tried some other thinks as well but these are the ones I remember.

Some terminal stuff that might help identifying the problem.

You have a couple of issues from what I see, unrelated to gaming.
#1

Dragonlinux libvirtd[1067]: Unable to open /dev/kvm

This error is usually an indication that you need to enable virtualization in your bios or the KVM modules are not loading initially, see here if bios is not the problem.

#2

Dragonlinux kernel: mce: [Hardware Error]: PROCESSOR 2:a20f10 TIME 1694333925 SOCKET 0 APIC 0 microcode a201016

This is most likely the reason your system is rebooting. It is because you need a bigger psu for your system, power not enough for your gpu.

I enabled virtualization in the bios and updated the system. That changed something:

The PSU should not be a problem. I calculated my PCs watt usage via Power Supply Calculator - PSU Calculator | OuterVision and it said I use ~570W. My PSU has 650W. Games also work on Windows so that should not be an Issue.

Well, regarding your computer turning off during gaming, this seems like the same issue you are having. Not sure if there is a solution though.

mce hardware error while playing games

As far as the PAM password required errors, you may need to reinstall whatever virtual software and see if that helps, or look into PAM password errors, seems to be a lot on the issue…and causes.

I found the problem.
It was my SSD (which was new btw), its broken. Anyways thanks for the help.
