The question was

not what we would recommend.
My example referred to the fact that he can still install it afterwards.

Hi there, welcome to the community.

Earlier, in some editions, we shipped simple screen recorder as default screen recorder.

But we do not have any default screen recorder now

I would suggest using simple screen recorder for basic use, and because it is lightweight.

no official default. But ffmpeg, which is explicitly installed everywhere, is enough :wink:

FYI.
For some time now, we have been closing topics automatically after 14 days and doing this manually for older ones when we find them.
