Davinci Resolve installed but does not launch

Hello,

I know it is a mess to install and make Davinci Resolve to run on any linux plateform. I have red the Davinci Resolve Arch wiki and checked all necessary drivers which are required. It seem to be all installed on my laptop. So Davinci Resolve was sucessfully installed from AUR but it doesn’t launch.

There is one line that seems to be the problem (but they might be more). How could I fix that ?

  • After rebooting, post the FULL output of garuda-inxi in the body of the post (not linked externally, or collapsed with the “hide details” feature)
  • Format terminal output (including your garuda-inxi) as a code block by clicking the preformatted text button (</>) , or put three tildes (~) above and below the text

It makes no sense to post logs of error messages externally if they are deleted after 29 days.

Later readers looking for help with the same problem will then no longer be able to see whether it is identical to theirs. That’s why I added it to your post.

I finally received the solution on the telegram discussion group.
Davinci Resolve successfully launched when I logged Xorg Session instead of Wayland.
