Davinci Resolve broke after update

I have been using Davinci Resolve for editing on Garuda but didn't open the app for a week or so and during that time an update was done that broke the application to where it no longer loads. I went back to the oldest snapper tools image I had and it didn't go back early enough to resolve the problem. I don't know what update broke it, but think it was a display driver update. It hangs on GPUDetect.

Here are the logs from the most recent attempt to launch the program:

Does GitHub - Ashark/davinci-resolve-checker: Check your system configuration and hardware for ability to successfully run DaVinci Resolve say anything useful?

edit: noticed 2023-04-10 ↻ and the failed shadow.service, try rebooting just for good measure.

This is what I got from the checker:

progl ./davinci-resolve-checker.py
Using locale en_US
DaVinci Resolve checker 3.0.0
Installed DaVinci Resolve package: davinci-resolve-studio 18.1.4-1
Chassis type: desktop
Installed OpenCL drivers: opencl-amd
Presented GPUs:
Navi 21 [Radeon RX 6800/6800 XT / 6900 XT] (kernel driver in use: amdgpu)
OpenGL vendor string: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: AMD Radeon RX 6800

Warning: opencl-amd (1:5.4) and amdgpu-pro-libgl (22.20.4) versions mismatch.
All seems good. You should be able to run DaVinci Resolve successfully.

Check the comments in the AUR, it looks like other people are having troubles recently, and in the example below a user managed to work-around the problem by removing the package bringing in the "offending" shared library.
Not necessarily the same error / backtrace as yours of course...
