Hello to everyone! I want to know the current situation of Garuda Draconized running on Wayland. The only post I found here is locked and the last entry was added in March 8th. I found this on the web:

I'm using Nvidia and I read about their improvements for Wayland:

I'm wondering what people from Garuda will do about Wayland and KDE Plasma. That's, I want to know if you guys have any news. Perhaps this post can be used to track and keep people updated about the subject?

PS: What kind of help we can give in order to speed up the process of allowing Garuda Draconized to use Wayland.

Thanks!

Waiting until the bugs are worked out  since we don’t develop KDE ourselves it’s mostly down to that.

Well I guess all you can do is using Wayland and reporting eventual bugs. However, there is already a list of known showstoppers which will eventually be worked on by KDE devs. This also reflects the current state quite well.

https://community.kde.org/Plasma/Wayland_Showstoppers

If none of those issues are actually a concern of yours, this shouldn’t stop you from doing Wayland adventures yourself

I am already using wayland on Dragonized. the only issue OOB related to Dragonized setup is that Optimus manager does not support wayland.
