CTRL+ALT+key not working

Hi team,
I want to use the Slovak keyboard as default. The normal characters are working, even the special characters on the numbers row (ľ, č, ž, etc.). The problem is, when I want to use other special characters. For example ctrl+alt+v should give me the @ sign, ctrl+alt+e should give me the Euro (currency) sign. The signs are shown in the previous of the keyboard. For now, I am using keyboard switching with an US keyboard (via alt+meta+k). My actual keyboard is a Keychron Q5. I am not sure, if the SK keyboard does not support the ctrl+alt+key features, or it is a Wayland issue.

Any help is appreciated.

I figured it out. As I was previously always working on Windows, I knew only the left ctrl+alt+key combination.
I have played around and found out that the correct trigger key was the right ALT, in the keyboard preview named as “ISO Level 3 Shift”.
Hopefully this will help someone in the future.
