CPU Usage Meter + Plasma 6 + Application Table = Unclickable

Simply put, I apparently decided to use the wrong style for the widget in my topbar, after the one I like the most broke due to Plasma 6. Now it’s not allowing me to do anything with it. The computer acts like it’s not there at all. The broken style is Application Table. How do I fix either the widget or the style?

Probably start by fixing this?

If the widget in the upper control panel is dead, there is only one thing that helps: delete the control panel and create it again, then add the desired widgets again.

And make sure that you only use widgets that are compatible with Plasma 6. Incompatible widgets that were programmed for Plasma 5 show exactly the error pattern described.
