Confusing Grub error on garuda-update

I ran garuda-update this morning and got this message and I am now terrified about rebooting.

The GRUB bootloader at /EFI/Garuda was updated, but it seems like you are not using the Garuda Linux bootloader by default. If you are using 'rEFInd' bootloader, you can safely ignore this. Otherwise, please change your EFI boot priorities to prioritize the "Garuda" bootloader. Running'grub-install' will do this automatically.

When I searched these forums I found this post:

But I am not sure if it’s applicable: I have never seen this message and I don’t remember making any changes in BIOS that would effect this.

Should I just do as instructed and run sudo grub-install?

Am I being too gun-shy? I assume that even if I rendered the machine un-bootable I probably would be able to boot off the install media and fix the issue without losing data?

Please find below the output of garuda-inxi:

I answered my own question:

be more confident, trust that I was correct that my current bootloader is grub and run sudo grub-install just like it told me to.

Nice one, be sure to also regenerate the Grub configuration file after installing it.

sudo update-grub

Brilliant, thanks for the reminder.

I really appreciate the time that the Garuda team and community invest in making it a great experience and provide support here.
