Since the last update a few days ago i notice that my computer will not shutdown up hangs just before it normally switches off with a blank screen. When i restored a snapshot from before the update the issue resolves, but then Garuda updated again and the problem resurfaced again.

Not sure how to troubleshoot this problem

Restore, then use garuda-update, but do not press Enter, but type n - Enter.

Post the update log as text with all the applications that are to be renewed.

My first step would be to try a different kernel & headers say, linux-lts & linux-lts-headers but...

Other than restore an older snapshot, what have you read & what have you tried? Have you :mag: the forums? Please help us help you.

Thanks Bro,

The problem seems to have occurred after a failed shutdown where the computer had to be manually shutdown to stop it from running.

After i restored a previous snapshot the trouble went away, but then when i update it again it reoccurred. The issue of not shutting down persisted for a few days, until out of the blue it shutdown rightly again and after that the issue disappeared.

All is running fine now.
