Do you have an optical drive in your laptop?
Looks like a defect ISO, hardware error or the kernel has an error communicating with the disk controller:

Dec 11 10:29:45 unkown-hp kernel: I/O error, dev sr0, sector 0 op 0x0:(READ) flags 0x80700 phys_seg 4 prio class 2

Dec 11 10:29:45 unkown-hp kernel: Buffer I/O error on dev sr0, logical block 1, async page read
etc...

the window animation like minimizing , maximizing and moving its only static but i fix it it was problem with the mesa opengl corrupted maybe or something idk thats why in nvidia the animation was working i just needed to reinstall mesa with its packages like opengl and that stuff

yes i have but i dont use it plus wdym hardware error??? bro dont scare the shit out of me XD

my hardware issue is a bit confusing its just when i hold the laptop from the corner it crashes because i mistakenly bend the gpu since the laptop heavy and kinda me stupid so if there is hardware error yes there is but only crash when the gpu get hit or something idk if its because not placed well in place or something bruh i think i will disassmeble it again to clean and i will check that, also my speakers not working i maybe forget to plugin or something maybe because of that.

but now my main problem is this which happened after updating linux-zen to 6.6.4 and after that its not leaving even after updating to 6.6.6 now and as i read its related to bios or something

The errors from the optical drive have nothing to do with your graphics issues, I just noticed them. So don’t panic, bro :slightly_smiling_face:

If I understood correctly, you have these problems with the iGPU AND the nVidia GPU?
And the condition of your hardware doesn’t sound good…
It is possible that the whole thing is actually a hardware defect and the kernel update is just a coincidence.
Have you ever tested whether a snapshot from before the update works?
Do you also have this issues with a live-iso?

ok i will try to test a live-bot now i forget if i have the iso still but i will try when i boot what error should i search and try to find or just give u the whole error logs i dont want to use snapshots and lose updates or needed packages i thus i will try live boot safer and more efficient if the errors visible or not

Note:i also booted to the linux kernel not zen the same error shows

i got the error using garuda live boot so yea i am gonna ignore it from now on
also i booted it with nvidia to make sure if there is anyerrors related will show

Slowly slowly, bro

I think this is going in the wrong direction.
In addition, the topic becomes completely confusing. Please, follow the template and format your text corectly. Put the output from terminal between the ~~~.
And i personally don’t have time to copy your output in my editor and reformat this for better reading :upside_down_face:

Summary:
You have a problem with the dragonized theme and a ghost window called “Plasma Renderer”.
Resetting to default settings and reinstalling the theme didn’t work. You restarted kwin_x11 and changed the compositor settings. You had a problem with Mesa-OpenGL and fixed it.
You only have these issues with the Intel iGPU.
Everything works with the nVidia GPU except that the ASCII logo is displayed in the terminal.
Is that right?

Display server and compositor are working correctly according to your garuda-inxi.
You can ignore the ACPI BIOS Error and the other error messages.
The GPU Passthrough Error

libvirtd[893]: internal error: Unknown PCI header type '127' for device '0000:0a:00.0'

i have that in the back of my mind.

We should first take a look at the intel-iGPU (if it is not defective):
post the output from

pacman -Qs intel

Second look go’s to x11:

  1. Go to /var/log/ and open the Xorg.0.log with an editor. Copy the entire content to https://bin.garudalinux.org/ and post the generated link here.
  2. On your desktop, close all open windows and press ctrl+alt+backspace to reset and restart the xserver. After that, is the ‘intel-iGPU’ and ‘plasma’ working correctly?
  3. Switch to wayland. Are the ‘intel-iGPU’ and ‘plasma’ working correctly?
  4. Create a new user account and log in. Are the ‘intel-iGPU’ and ‘plasma’ working correctly?

After these steps it is plasma’s turn.

EDIT: Have you tested another theme, like breeze or sweet ?
EDIT 2: Typo and additions.
EDIT 3: I think you don’t need to do steps 2, 3 and 4 under Second look go's to x11:, that doesn’t help. The problem is the intel IGPU.

ok haha thats because i was thinking and wiriting investigate think and right(edit:write*)
anyway i fixed it as i said the issue was with opengl i tried restart plasma and compositor reinstalling the dragonized theme and using the breeze and sweet nothing work untill i reinstall the mesa-opengl so i dont actually know the bug around it i think related to optimus manager sometimes its bugging when i change to integrated gpu but doesnt change and stuck in black screen so i think its the problem causing it anyway i know how to fix it now and its good so no need to open a conversation its fixed i will mark solution in a new replay.

i just noticed the gpu passthrough error related to the virtual machine hmm wierd since i wasnt using it before the post i just yesterday started to try and run the virtual machine and i tried to make gpu passthrough but its not detecting the gpu so i give up

anyway the ACPI BIOS ERROR do i ignore it or open new thread and ask about it or what i can do
