Compatible Nvidia graphics drivers

Hello Garuda users.
Because of the minecraft issues with the newest NVIDIA graphics drivers i have been trying to downgrade my graphics drivers. My gpu is a gtx 1060 3gb and i want to know what the latest compatible driver is that is not the 535xx. i believe i have the default kernel.

Since the versions go in order, then my guess would be 534. Am I understanding your question?

sudo downgrade nvidia-dkms nvidia-utils

Try nvidia-all, it allows you to install any version you want. You'll see the list of available versions.

Works perfectly, i was able to install the 530 driver no issue, thank you

Please check the box of the user who led you to the solution you needed. It might help others with the same problem.

Also, I corrected the spelling of "compatible" in your topic header. I'm sort of a whosis. Probably anal-retentive, too. :slight_smile:
