Clicking sound instead of notification sound when discord plays audio

Hello!

I searched for an answer on this admittedly very quickly, because I vaguely remember another user having the same issue…

I’ve recently migrated my installation off of one of my hard drives onto a new hard drive because I was giving that hard drive to my partner. With my new installation, i’m experiencing a clicking sound in place of a notification sound when discord notifies me. It’s relatively intermittent, happens sometimes when discord has gone a while without playing a sound, but sometimes plays the sound no problem. I’m really bad with sound troubleshooting and I don’t know where to start. This wasn’t an issue in my prior installation.

Any help appreciated!
