Cinnamon shutdown goes back to login screen

As title says, I 've recently done fresh Garuda Cinnamon install but clicking shutdown or reboot from Cinnamon’s own menu goes back to login screen, while invoking shutdown from terminal, pressing the hardware button and shutting down from login screen is powering off my PC properly.

Maybe it will help someone to discover/remove the error.:
Manjaro Cinnamon (unstable branch) does not have this problem.

Same issue on my side, except I’m using AMD graphics card. So I guess we can rule out the graphics card driver to cause the issue.

Check whether the switch for quit window is set to off in the system settings under login window settings.

If that doesn’t solve your problem, take a look here:

Apparently it is an upstream bug doing this, I 'll attempt grabbing the sources, apply the patch and install it.

Downstream arch package with version 6.2.1-1 fixed the issue, case closed.
