well i did actually install bumblebee but i remived it because it didnt work and i installed nvidia 390

That’s not a command, it’s a config file. You’d have to open it with an editor to see what’s inside. Never mind though.

Let’s try this.

micro /etc/default/grub

Add the kernel options between the quotes in the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT line:

nomodeset i915.modeset=0 nouveau.modeset=0

Make sure you add them inside the quotes. Leave the stuff that’s already there alone.

Then, regenerate the Grub configuration file.

update-grub

Exit the chroot, reboot and test again.

When I rebooted now my screen is black it said loading ram disk then the screen is black

But with lts it stuck in loading ramdisk(still the same problem)

Sure, let’s take a look if you’ve got it. If you are going to get back in the chroot, paste an updated garuda-inxi as well so we can take a look at that.

Let’s make sure also in your BIOS settings that the SATA controller is set to AHCI mode (not RAID, or something else).
