Can't play games on steam

Hello to all =)

I have huge problem with steam games and i am frustrated by now…

I had windows (bare metal) until today, and i was running linux on VM.
yesterday some online games stopped to work for me, like competitive on cs (but casual yes), and some multiplayer games was not working to, like i got ban from all multiplayer…
today i installed 3-4 distros to try some other options and now i am back to garuda. (i was all ready familiar with gaming on linux and done that before) but nothing works for, open-source drivers/proprietary nvidia drivers nothing.

now the problem is when i lunching cs its scan for vulkan shaders gets to 100% and do nothing after 10-15 minutes… (i am trying to run the game frame extenal ssd)

I don’t want to go back to windows… and dont want to dual boot because updates brake the dual boot setup for me. and i was trying to pcie Passthrough but failed every time i tried.

So the last option for me is here or back to win…

Here is my specs:

You can just skip it. I can assure you the performance boost you get with them are not anything huge. Processing vulkan shaders would for sure lead to a smoother ingame experience but they are not absolutely necessary.

Hi, but even if i skip this the game does not lunch…

Have you tried switching between steam runtime and steam native? Try launching them from the terminal and see if the logs tell you anything?

steam-runtime

for steam runtime and similar for native.

Or, try different kernels, like the lts kernel

sudo pacman -S linux-lts linux-lts-headers

Then while booting from grub menuadvanced options for garuda linux choose linux-lts to boot with.

I have tried to lunch from native and runtime but with no successes.

I think i was on the LTS kernal for couple times to run this… i dont know mybe can it be bios stuff?

Yeah I recommend doing that I went online looking for your mobo and found it has gotten some stability and security issues addressed in bios updates that you don’t have.

Check it out if this is your mobo and right bios for it do update to it’s latest version.

So, i looked the version and its fine for me…
this is the version on thier web site

and this is mine

mybe it can be a port broblem?
like some other app blocking? or somthing with the modem?

Welp, i am dual booting now… mybe one day i will found solution.

The ‘swoosh’ means you need to reboot. Please do so, then see if your problem persists.
