Can't login into Garuda (Gnome) version after update

Hello,

I was wondering if you can help me with the same problem. I noticed that this happened right after I update Garuda after installation. This is the second time it happened to me. The first time I thought it was because I chose two different passwords for the root and the administrator user. So I have to reinstall everything again because I read somewhere in the forum that someone had the same problem, and that fixed it. This time as I was waiting for the updates, the screen locked and now I can only use the guess account. Could you indicate me what I could read to fix this issue. The result of the inxi -Fxxxza:

Something that I notice is that when I try to introduce my password it keep saying that the fingerprint autentification did not work and I never set that type of autentification.

Thanks for your help.

Which iso did you use to reinstall? One of the newer, 210406 ?
This one is ready for GNOME 40 so there shouldnt be any issues.
Can you login via TTY? ( CTRL + ALT + F3 )

Where did you put in your password? A simple sudo or logging on via GDM?

Hello,

I installed Garuda using garuda-gnome-linux-zen-210406. This is weird I was able to login but then it locks and I am not able to logging again. I think I am trying to login using the GDM. If I try to become root in terminal it recognize my password. It looks like is the graphical guis that have problems taking my password. Now I turned on the fingerprint and sometimes work and let me log in after the screen locks and sometimes don't.

Make sure you use Gnome on Xorg to login.
