How can i install nvidia drivers (nvidia-smi does not work for me)

sudo pacman -S nvidia-470xx-dkms

and reboot. If it doesn't work

sudo pacman -S nvidia-390xx-dkms

and reboot.

Also check out FroggingFamily NVidia. Themost reliable way to install NVidia drivers in my experience.

inxi -Faz include the three z.

But where is the problem to follow simple the template?

Please post the terminal/konsole input and output as text (no pictures) from the the following command:

and also these did not work (sudo pacman -S nvidia-390xx-dkms or sudo pacman -S nvidia-470xx-dkms) because of nvidia-utils

You installed on the 14th of June ? Yet the last full update was on the 3rd of June ? I think something is messed up :smiley: or you have not updated

So updating my system is the solution ?

It might help have you tried updating? :grinning:
Who knows??? :smiley: :smiley:
the point i was making the installed date is after a full update would they not be the same or after if you had updated?

garuda-update && sudo pacman -S nvidia-390xx-dkms nvidia-390xx-utils lib32-nvidia-390xx-utils

It would be safer for the system to reboot first after a system update. Then all modules/drivers would be the correct version. At least AFAIK :person_shrugging:

This worked for me guys BUT first You need to delete nvidia by sudo pacman -Rsn nvidia and execute the code that quoted.
