Can't control volume w/keyboard in mate after latest update change from pulse to pipewire

After removing pulseaudio and installing pipewire, the keyboard media controls like volume up, down and mute button does not work.

For now, removed the pipewire and moved back to pulse audio, but would like to know on how to resolve the issue with pipewire

Pipewire is under active development so things will be fixed over time.

For now, Pulseaudio is more reliable.
