Can't Access My Ext4 SSD drives

Hello Garuda users.

I just reinstalled Garuda but for some reason. I have the OS on one drive and everything else on other internal drives. In my previous install from 2 years ago, I used gnome-disk-utility to auto mount the drives with a simple click. However, for some reason, I can’t access my additional internal drives with the clean install.

I have tried Gnome-disk-utility as normal, I have tried the auto mount utility in KDE system settings, I have played around with the fstab options the last one I tried was rw,suid,exec,auto,nouser,nosuid,nodev,nofail,x-gvfs-show.

The only non-OS drive that mounts as expected is the USB drive.

Nothing seems to work. The drives auto mount but I can’t access them. Even when I set them to be manually mounted now, I can’t access them. In dolphin the permissions are

Have you tried using chown to take ownership?

will try that now and get back to you

Thanks chown fixed it. I did this. Hopefully I didn't break something else

sudo chmod -R a+rwX,o-w /run/media/thedarthtux/GamingVirtMachOS

sudo chown -R $USER:$USER /run/media/thedarthtux/GamingVirtMachOS

I am guessing my previous install breaking due to what I am guessing is a dead drive really messed up the permissions.

Thanks again
