Cannot source bashrc after fresh install of dragonized gaming version

Hello,

I just installed Garuda Linux Dragonized Gaming edition and I tried to set up my environment. I initially tried to source ~/.bashrc however I got the following error:

~/.bashrc (line 5): Missing end to balance this if statement
if [ -x /usr/bin/starship ]; then
^
from sourcing file ~/.bashrc
source: Error while reading file “/home/dark-dante/.bashrc”

After running garuda-inxi, I get the following:

Did something go wrong ?

Hi there, welcome.
Please check if you can solve it like this.

Anyway, remember also updating your system, since it seems to have the initial kernel version.

PS: I edited your post using ~~~ before and after the terminal text to give it a raw look.
Please consider that for the future.

Thanks a lot ! It works when I changed the command to /usr/bin/bash from /usr/bin/fish. Also, thanks for the advice

As a follow up, is there any advantage of using fish over bash ?
