Hi there, welcome to the forum!
Have you checked if there is a BIOS setting to enable it?

have you tried simply reloading the usb module? It helped me when my external hdd wan't being detected

sudo modprobe usb-storage

Also check if your sd card is being detected on:

  1. lsusb
  2. sudo fdisk -l
  3. lsblk -fa

additinally what does

udevadm monitor

say about your sd card?
have you blocked/blacklisted something on your device?

Also try changing kernels that helps too sometimes. Don't forget to install the respective headers of the kernels you are downloading to test. eg:

sudo pacman -S linux-lts linux-lts-headers
sudo pacman -S linux linux-headers

is enabled in bios, with manjaro or fedora in other laptops detects without problem in garuda after install or update without installing any other package, only rpi-imager o balena , no detects..
the commands results :

sudo fdisk -l ...

The SD card is clearly being detected, as anyone can see. Can you describe the issue another way?

Are you having trouble mounting it? Paste into the thread so we can see.

For example:

sudo mount /dev/mmcblk0p4 /mnt/sd_card --mkdir

As bluishhumility said it seems your sd card is being properly detected.

  • When inserting your sd card I see that it mounts your partition 1 that is a vfat partition instead of the ext4 partitions. I am not very knowledgeable in this area but could this be the issue here? If so try manually mounting them as needed.

  • (Most likely) Try the reverse of above too that is when the sd card is not mounted.(I am assuming you click the mount and open pop up you get when you insert the sd card. Don't click on it) and check if that was the issue. I remember your drive needes to be unmounted for them to be formatted and their partition changed

  • After reloading the usb module with the modprobe command did you try to check if your sd card is being detected by the softwares?

it can be mounted, seen with nautilus, but when using rpi-imager it doesn't detect it in the list of devices to flash. and in etcher it shows it as system disk.

try detecting the sd card in rpi-imager while it is unmounted. As I said above and see if they detect it then. Because last I remember you need to have your drives unmounted to format them and change their partition table.
