Cannot change brightness on Lenovo Legion Y540

I recently installed Garuda Linux gaming edition on my Lenovo Legion Y540 system. Everything works fine, but I cannot change the brightness of the screen. I am able to manipulate the brightness using xrandr command.
By using the Fn and the function keys, I can see on the screen that the brightness is increased/decreased however.

inxi output for reference:
CPU: 6-Core Intel Core i7-9750H (-MT MCP-) speed/min/max: 2600/800/2600 MHz
Kernel: 5.12.6-zen1-1-zen x86_64 Up: 24m Mem: 3987.1/15922.4 MiB (25.0%) Storage: 1.14 TiB (2.3% used)
Procs: 339 Shell: fish inxi: 3.3.04

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi there, welcome to the community.

Looks like a general KDE Plasma bug. Here is another user with apparently same issue, (not Garuda Linux user, ig)

Also, similar issue has been solved here, just have a look if it helps

Do some basic troubleshooting and post what you have found with relevant technical info.

Install kgamma5, then you can adjust gamma under System Settings > Display. I dunno why it was left off the ISO.
