Can Only Boot with Nvidia-All drivers (not repo drivers)

There’s another issue I’ve been having for a while, and it continues with the repo driver and internal display.

Sometimes there are visual glitches; even at the login screen, I see occasional glitches. Then when I use the computer, every now and then, X11 freezes, I have to switch to console and kill X11 that takes 100% and I can keep using the computer.

That’s the reason I’m still using X11; under Wayland, the same freeze instead causes a system freeze that cannot be recovered from.

Menu bar blinking in Wayland

I was just having another issue with NVidia drivers / X11. X11 still doesn’t work but I can now work in Wayland. Here’s the issue I’m having now. The top menu bar is blinking repeatedly and very fast. There is nothing in the system log. Any idea what this is about? I can use it for a while before it starts blinking. Before my issue with Wayland was that it completely froze; perhaps it’s the same bug, but now does that instead of freezing? Here’s a video of it Inxi System: Kernel: 6.13.2-zen…

These are just symptoms. HDMI doesn’t work properly for you, wayland doesn’t work properly and x11 doesn’t work at all - the whole graphics system doesn’t work properly.

It loads perfectly fine if I unplug the HDMI output.

Booting in Wayland is working now…

Now we are one step further.
Upload again a complete journal and a current Xorg.0.log (and if available Xorg.2.log).

Boot a garuda-live.iso with selected proprietary nvidia drivers and check if there are any issues with x11/wayland/HDMI.
