Can not update with pacman and garuda update

I just tryed to update my system and it says
octopi-0.16.2-2 and alpm_octopi_utils-1.0.2-7.4 are in conflict. Remove alpm_octopi_utils? [y/N]
i tryed both Y and N and it says
unresolvable package conflicts detected
error: failed to prepare transaction (conflicting dependencies)
:: octopi-0.16.2-2 and alpm_octopi_utils-1.0.2-7.4 are in conflict
ps. also tryed to remove packages it says “not found”

Please, post always the garuda-inxi

Also post your command from termial and full output/log as text.

You use garuda-update in terminal?

  • After rebooting, post the FULL output of garuda-inxi in the body of the post (not linked externally, or collapsed with the “hide details” feature)
  • Format terminal output (including your garuda-inxi) as a code block by clicking the preformatted text button (</>) , or put three tildes (~) above and below the text

I just did update my system using garuda-update from CLI (this is how I always update the system by default) I got the same dependencies warning but after confirming all went okay.

This is a bad idea:

Please always use pacman to uninstall packages. I strongly recommend you to learn how to use pacman: pacman - ArchWiki

Try to install linux-headers:

sudo pacman -S linux-headers

and then try garuda-update again:

garuda-update

@korobert: please open a new topic with your garuda-inxi.

Check if the software exists on your system

pacman -Qi octopi alpm_octopi_utils

And using sudo rm is

It’s no easier way to destroy your system if you don’t have basic knowledge. But some people only learn the hard way.

im now reinstalling

The linux-headers or the whole OS…?

i just did what did you say i installed linux-headers again and i dont give error but sfind: '/usr/lib/modules/6.12.4-zen1-1-zen/': No such file or directory find: '/usr/lib/modules/6.12.4-zen1-1-zen/': No such file or directory find: '/usr/lib/modules/6.12.4-zen1-1-zen/': No such file or directoryshould I be afraid of this?

Did you actually reboot after all this? If not → reboot and check again.

If you still have any problems after that, please post the COMPLETE input and output from the terminal (not just a few bits) and format it into a code block (put three tildes (~) above and below the text).

The whole thread looks like a horde of Smurfs had been on the rampage here
