Can Gnome have qt6-wayland installed by default?

I tried to install Converseen, but it wouldn’t run - I got the error:

qt.qpa.plugin: Could not find the Qt platform plugin "wayland" in ""
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Available platform plugins are: eglfs, linuxfb, minimal, minimalegl, offscreen, vkkhrdisplay, vnc, xcb.

…after some digging around I found ubuntu - qt.qpa.plugin: Could not find the Qt platform plugin "wayland" - Stack Overflow and after going through the answers it seemed I was lacking qt6-wayland.

I checked Pamac and it wasn’t installed, so I installed it using…

sudo pacman -S qt6-wayland

I then gave Converseen another try and it worked

Can qt6-wayland be installed by default to save head scratching?
