Buzzing from speakers after 6.1 update

Hi there,
About the time I updated to Plasma 6.1 my speakers started making a buzzing noise when not actively in use. If I do something that actively plays audio, the speakers work fine. Nothing has changed with my hardware since the 6.1 update.

I already tried creating the file /etc/modprobe.d/local.conf and adding options snd_hda_intel power_save=0 then rebooting. This fix was mentioned here.

When I reboot the sound stops briefly, then starts again about the time the GRUB screen appears.

Thanks in advance for any help given!
