I’m not an Nvidia user, but I’d say that it’s too early to use nvidia-dkms with kernel 6.15.0-rc1-1-mainline. There will be the usual patches in the near future.
I think you should stick to the linux-zen kernel for now.
And, please, always provide your garuda-inxi, as required in the topic template.

Thanks for answering. I specifically use Linux to play. If there is a way to continue, I will continue waiting for an update. But if anyone has an idea if it would be better to change it to improve the game, I would appreciate it.

!! Pls bios update!!
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-X670-P-WIFI/support

Thanks for responding, I’m going to try to update the BIOS.

Please help me, how can I create the pendrive to update the BIOS?

I’m sure there are instructions on the BIOS download page.

" Easily flash or update the BIOS in just a few minutes directly from the CMOS Setup …"
Click BIOS 5

Hi, I already downloaded the software. I need to know how to create the flash drive to update the BIOS.

hi,

if you have a flash drive make sure you safe the files somewhere as a backup. The flash drive have maybe to be empty. extract the file where you have downloaded and watch for the right file what you need and copy it in the main directory of the flash drive. I see there is a yt video who shows you which file you need to copy .

if your stick didnt get recognized on the bios you can use the Partition Manager and format it as fat32 or exfat drive. When its finished you copy the needed file to it .

also check the pdf file how to use it to update your bios.

remove the mainline kernel if you dont need them really and install the znver4 Version matches to your cpu

Please could you explain to me how to uninstall the main kernel and install the one I need for my PC and games?

The actually Zen Kernel isnt bad so you dont need to change it. Also i would not uninstall it because use it as a fallback kernel if you messed up something.

Please open Garuda Rani if you want install other Kernels under System Settings >>> Kernels >>> znver4 tick it and execute it.

i have a zen3 cpu not an zen4 like you so you look for it scroll down to find it. Also you see i have not uninstalled the zen main kernel. as fallback Option.

your one

then

after the installing reboot your system and on my system the znver3 loaded itself you can see on the display message before the main login screen comes up if not you can chance it in the Boot Options to it.

and safe it.

And for your Games if you have trouble open a new Topic please!!! Your driver looks correct installed.

Also post your garuda-inxi with three ~~~ enter and then copy and paste inxi after enter then enter again and type ~~~

your garuda-inxi in here

uninstall these if you dont need it really so you get rid of the error warning same where you can install the znver4 kernel just unhook linux-mainline and execute again and reboot.

Hello, thanks for responding. Between the configurations and the kernel option, it doesn’t load. I’ve been waiting for half an hour and it doesn’t load. Can someone help me fix this problem? Thanks.

are you on the normal garuda-rani or garuda-rani-git?

try garuda-rani-git if youre not on it open the Terminal

sudo pacman -S garuda-rani-git

Sorry, I kind of lost track of this thread. What is the actual problem?
If it is getting rid of the Nvidia building error, I would suggest just uninstalling the kernel that causes it:

sudo pacman -R linux-mainline linux-mainline-headers

If it is having better performance with another kernel, I would say (e.g.):

sudo pacman -S linux-znver4 linux-znver4-headers

Thanks for responding, the problem is solved from the kernel, the Garuda Rani, the kernel option still continues without opening, it was through the command that I was able to solve the problem by uninstalling the current kernel and subtracting a new kernel through command, thanks to everyone for the support
