Now its causing issues to other installs

Performing snapper post snapshots for the following configurations...
Invalid snapshot '--type'.
==> root:

Try sudo pacman -R snapper-support && sudo rm -rf /.snapshots && sudo pacman -S snapper-support

In theory that should fix it :tm:

I ran it but it still says,

Please check and merge

That should not be the case right?

This happens because it failed to create the pre-snapshot (which is expected because snapper-support wasn't installed). Try installing another package now and it should™ work.

Hmm i am going to try it now, also i checked the btrfs assistant page again i still can not create a new snapshot in the root config.

Can you show the full install and uninstall log of snapper-support then? This is guesswork without logs.

Did it what now?

You can show me a screenshot if you want to.

Actually, do you mind sending sudo snapper list-configs first?

Those restrictions should be removed now, check if you can upload a screenshot.

Hmmm.

What filesystems do you have and where?

It’s obviously btrfs.

@Partha2003 I see what happened in that screenshot… Seems like you restored a snapshot and it didn’t quite restore successfully. I mean, it restored successfully, but the snapshots didn’t get restored to the normal place.
You can safely delete all those old snapshots by deleting every one of those containing “restore_backup”. After that run sudo snapper delete-config && sudo snapper create-config --template garuda / and send the output.
