I believe I may be affected by this problem. After running garuda-update, I am unable to boot into the default kernel (linux-zen); However, I am able to boot into linux-amd-zen3. I’m also not able to fully boot into my snapshots: I’m able to get into a tty, but journalctl shows that the display sever fails to launch, giving the same “failed to read display number from pipe” error that was identified by BluishHumility. Same problem with me. I just wanted to write a new topic in these forums but I’ll continue here. It must be a regression in the Kernel in the new update. Since the Linux update from 14th of april (or maybe one or two days before), Linux Zen will hang when booting. The regression is even “backwards compatible”, causing boot errors with Linux-Zen boot options for all previous Snapper Snapshots as long as no previous snapshot was successfully restored.
