Bspwm: rofi now displays black text on black background

it's very annoying and I can't figure out the exact setting that's responsible for that in rofi config in ~/.config/rofi.

the text was white before and now it's almost the same color as the background

I believe the latest version of rofi made some config format changes that are not backwards compatible. This basically means whatever config was put in place by you and/or the distro defaults are probably broken.

I would recommend either downgrading for rofi for now or editing your config based on the new format.
