This…

This is what made me more determined to find a solution instead of just throwing in the towl and going back to ubuntu  :stuck_out_tongue: in fact i read the entire article twice and tried it over again and again before i went searching for a the solution have now…

I followed every step in that and it actually didnt even work so my last thought was to go searching for kernel side solutions

Why i didnt try a kernel change in the first place is beyond me… but in saying that i learned far more going through all the wiki stuff and information i was given through various sources before getting to this point

Motivation through text is a special gift :stuck_out_tongue: who knew

So what did it remind you of lol?

I am not sure that you’ll appreciate it, so if you dare, search for a similar Einstein quote.

That is why on almost any help request, that is one of my first suggestions, (bios update close second).

Many times issues that you would never think are a result of kernel updates, are actually caused by the kernel. On any new issue that arises, a kernel change should be one of your first responses.

I always reccomend testing at least 3 alternate kernels.
