Boot failure after garuda-update

Hi,
I am a Garuda user since about two years, Linux user much longer.
My setup is a dragonized garuda (KDE) with full disk encryption with LUKS.

If I do the update the system will fail to boot because it will not be able to decrypt LUKS even if I provide the correct password. If needed I can provide a picture with the failure. When failing to boot I am dropped to a rescue shell but I am unable to type anything. Rebooting and restoring a BTRFS snapshot results in a working system.

Regards,
Karasz

Just a sanity check, can you make sure that your device's SATA controller is set to AHCI mode in your device's setup utility aka your UEFI menu? A lot of people have not been able to boot into their systems lately and the cause had been this. So please check it.

Hi,
I checked, just to be sure. This is a Lenovo T14 G3 AMD and the UEFI firmware is pretty dumb, it does not have any setting for SATA or any other disk.

regards,
Karasz

Can you paste the output from the update into the thread?

A good starting point is to try booting with the LTS kernel.
