i’m guessing the version i have is the one with written

/var/cache/pacman/pkg

if its that one then im on version 5.85

yes correct see your output thats the newest what is fine normally. you just move up to 5.82 and install this with enter. If its asking for set to ignore list say N first we dont know if it helps or not . If its installed just reboot and test it again if it makes trouble

Solution is to downgrade bluez to version 5.82

in terminal type

sudo downgrade bluez

and with the arrows choose version 8.82 and press enter

Edit: if the pc gets cut of from electricity, when its is connected again the bluez settings go back to the latest version

ding sudo downgrade bluez and changing the version again fixes the problem like before

Nice im glad it helped you too. If you did not on the ignore list it got updated again with the next update by the way . So this is just temporarily then may the new bluez update will fix it too hopefully. I do not mention to set on ignore list. You als will see a warning now like Is partially upgraded: Yes . So it is your choice to do or not

This would be right but dosnt matter yet

Judging by how many commits happened since 5.85, there’s a good chance it could be fixed in 5.86
