Black screen on startup, loading initial ramdisk

Good morning garuda community, I have seen many topics in the forum about problems with Nvidia graphics card, because they get stuck at the start showing a message:

Loading initial linux-zen
Loading initial ramdisk

Since Friday I've been having the problem, I decided to take an obvious solution for the moment which is to use Snapper and restore to the last stable moment, and get by ignoring the Nvidia and kernel packages in the /etc/pacman.conf file to that are not updated. Searching the forum I realized that for some users the solution would be to reinstall the kernel headers or add the ibt=offparameter in the kernel but I had no success, so I got that quick solution.

Reading in the telegram group and the forum, the problem is exactly in Nvidia-dkms and nvidia-utils. But the truth is I don't know exactly, I was waiting for guidance on how long I should ignore those packages or if the problem is exclusive to those packages and I have to wait a while for them to correct it and thus be able to update normally.

Hi @osvarcha, try temporarily switching to the LTS kernel until whatever kernel or driver bug is breaking your system gets fixed upstream.

First remove the package holds from pacman.conf, then bring your system fully up to date.

garuda-update

Install the kernel and headers.

sudo pacman -S linux-lts linux-lts-headers

Reboot, and on the Grub menu select advanced options to boot with the LTS kernel.
