Black screen before being launched into linux

i created a bootable usb through etcher as well as rufus. both work on my laptop (with a ryzen 7 4800u apu). but for my desktop they both give me a black screen which seems inescapable.

my desktop has the following hardware:

ryzen 7 5700g

msi gaming z trio rtx 3080 (notably with the latest creative drivers rather then gaming drivers as the gaming drivers blackscreen windows 10 completely)

rog strix b550-f gaming

along with 32gb@3600 of corsair vengeance ram

and 2x 1tb nvme ssds

i tried different versions of garuda (dr460nized gaming & hyprland), which neither booted. ive also tried launching with my gpu taken out of my system, thus relying on onboard graphics, but this also got me nowhere. launching a different os (with my gpu slotted in) like endeavouros does give me an installation screen.

my bios is up to date and secure boot is disabled, the secure boot keys cleared and uefi enabled.

whenever i launch my bootable media i get a black screen with 0 messages, ctrl+alt+f2 doesnt do anything, i get no errors on my motherboard, but the rgb on my gpu, keyboard and mouse also do not turn on. i personally think whatever issue im having is in the bios, any help would be much appreciated as im completely stuck on what to do.

p.s. just to be super clear,i cannot use the terminal

Hi there, welcome to the forum.

Try ventoy and use Grub2 mode to boot the iso.
