Black screen after booting with curser after doing something in theme i can only see a black screen and a curser

i got blck sceen in garuda mokka after booting with curser i dont know what to do i need help

Can you open the konsole with Ctrl + Alt + T? If so, try resetting the layout:

lookandfeeltool --resetLayout --apply Mokka

wait pls

not worked pls help its also happen by when i try to install flat hub idk pls help me to fix i cant uderstand why its happeing

  1. You should refrain from begging. The more you beg, the less help you will get.
  1. Such answers are not helpful. WHAT exactly is not working, calling up the konsole or the command?
  1. The topic title says that the issue occurred after you played around with the theme. Describe your issue in detail – WHEN and with WHAT did it start?

  2. We need your garuda-inxi (preferably from the installed system). If you can call up the konsole, then type

garuda-inxi

and copy the output. Then open the browser with

firedragon

log in to the forum, and paste the output from garuda-inxi here using a code block.

If you cannot open a console, open a tty and enter

garuda-inxi | garuda-privatebin

and post the generated link here. If none of these work then boot the Garuda live.iso and post your garuda-inxi from there.

see when i boot i only see mouse curser and also not showed login screen and the starting pop up i realy dont know about what is worng happend with linux i can open tty and mouse working but only black screen i have mokka version garuda

Once again:

Please answer all questions.

If you do not implement what is necessary for us to assist you, and without providing meaningful feedback with useful information, we cannot help you.

Ah, until now I assumed that the black screen happened after logging in. Since SDDM probably won’t start for you, enter this in the tty:

garuda-diag

and post the generated link here.

btw: have you tried loading a snapshot from before the issue occurred?

For the last time:
If you don’t answer the open questions in your next post AND don’t provide useful feedback AND don’t provide the requested logs, this topic will be moved to 4xx Client Error > 412 Precondition Failed.

âś… System health check passed. No issues found.

its starts after rebooting my linux and testing themes of login screen and i get black screen and mouse is fully functional background is gone when i boot no login screen only black screen where i cant login i not tried to loading a snapshot and also i install flat hub before testing the theme and first that photo i have been uploaded its comed after running this vmd garuda-diag and i got that link that the photo have in down you can see and im going to upload 1 more photo which you said to run this cmd garuda-inxi and garuda-inxi | garuda-privatebin after run this command i will upload photo sry for no perfact ans i got confused if want more thing then say pls dont move this topic to 4xx client error im new at garuda linux sry…

Please, no pictures from terminal.
Images can be read worse, are not searchable and copyable for further search.

So, I just add your garuda-inxi as text to your picture.

Where was the problem for you to copy and paste it from your QR-Code or https link?

how i will copy the text of which out put i got im on 1 pc i need to multiple time to boot and check i cant copy there cmd tehn i come to windows and tell you means i cant copy there garuda linux text and paste here

Then try a snapshot first, that’s what they’re for. Boot the computer, select “Garuda Linux snapshots” in the Grub menu, and load a snapshot from before the issue occurred.

If no snapshot works, open the tty, log in, and enter the following:

sudo micro /etc/sddm.conf.d/kde_settings.conf

Then use the arrow keys to navigate to the [Theme] section and change the theme to breeze under “Current=”, like this:

[Theme]
Current=breeze

Then press Ctrl + S to save and Ctrl + Q to exit micro.

Then reboot:

systemctl reboot

I haven’t looked at your garuda-diag yet, as I don’t have the time or inclination to type those endless link from the pic into the browser. Ah, I see @SGS was so kind.

Next time, just pipe it to termbin, like this:

garuda-inxi | tb

The links generated this way are only a few characters long and are better suited for a tty if you don’t have a suitable way to scan QR codes and/or post long links. “My” mistake.

As for the history in this thread, I’ll comment on that when this is all done…
