The problem is exactly what the title says.
After booting I am able to use the login manager, but once i login the tty1 does not load the environment. It is stuck on a blacks screen
Whereas, when I login to tty2 ( ctrl + alt + F2) and execute startx
it works. Idk why this problem suddenly occurred.
I also have another user on the system. Logging into that user in tty1 loads the desktop environment.
