Bitwarden clients error connecting because of Cloudflare

The bitwarden client apps are displaying error because of the cloudflare. This has made the service unusable. The web app is working fine after going through the cloudflare screen.

Works fine here in DragonFire (Floorp) and app.

I was using this url: https://vault.garudalinux.org but when I switched to https://bitwarden.garudalinux.org it started working fine. Thank you

Why? From your logic, you must use vaultwarden.garudalinux.org.

Yes, this is the link on our start page.
How did you find this Garuda Linux service?
It’s only noted there, with the correct link

At the start I was using the correct domain but after sometime when I distro hopped, I forgot the url.

Usually ‘vault’ subdomain is used for web app (in original bitwarden.com). When I tried this subdomain the website was working, so I used this in environment variable. Even when I got to know the correct domain I still used this one as it was lesser characters to type in .

PS: I was using this link for more than a year or two now without any issues.

Interesting, i was using all the time (set it up as alternative subdomain after the bitwarden subdomain due to it being used more often as you said). Where exactly does this error occur in the client and what does it say (you just sent an incomplete picture?)

My account was automatically logged out and this was displayed when logging back in. I could not get the full message, the ui only displays that much.

I think this could be because the cloudflare is enabled on ‘vault’ subdomain and returns an html page displaying the captcha for the api request. But when I visited the ‘bitwarden’ subdomain there was no cloudflare redirect, so I think it is not enabled on this domain.

That’s also my assumption currently. I’ll try to debug it myself at given time, thank you.
