Better control of touchpad "mouse" acceleration?

Hello everyone,

I’ve recently started using Garuda Linux (DR460NIZED edition) on my ThinkPad T495 and so far I love it - there’s just one little niggle: I can’t seem te find how to get better control of mouse pointer acceleration? In the KDE settings, I can only turn it on or off, but even turning it on doesn’t appear to do much for the touchpad. So I want to be able to increase the acceleration, but I’m unable to find where or how to do that.

I did find a topic from May this year by @Somnodeus but it appears that they didn’t get an answer to their question - or maybe they found the solution but didn’t post it in that topic. So if you’re still lurking around, Somnodeus, maybe you could tell us how you solved it?

Apart from missing garuda-inxi, did the mouse have a separately settings app?

I don’t know of a specific settings app for the laptop’s touchpad… If there is one, that could obviously solve the issue for me.

If I read mouse, I do not think on the touchpad  , sorry.
