I have been doing a bit of research but did not find much info about the fish prompt.
I did know bash but not fish. It seems to add some interesting features.

However, even if I really like the current version prompt, where can I find the info about the fields? For example the lambda symbol, the fact a cross shows when a shell function returned an error etc?

I really would like to know a bit more about those.
And I apologise if I did not search well or did not find it.

Thanks again for the great distro, and nice forum here, and all, have a nice day.
Eric

This is handled by the starship package.
Whose configuration is in:
~/.config/starship.toml
and can be reset if necessary from the Garuda Assistant or copying the default from
/etc/skel/.config/starship.toml
