Bad font,conf file causing crashes

Got this on a crash report, The font,conf file is over a decade old so not surprising there are problems with it, Is there a way to clean it up, or would it be better to start a new one.

Where are you getting this file from? Did you modify it yourself?

You could open the file and inspect the syntax on the lines it has mentioned (158, 212, 242, and so on). Compare to the syntax you see in /etc/fonts/fonts.conf; perhaps the error will be obvious.

By the way, it seems unlikely this font file is causing a crash. Those are warning messages in the log you posted, not error messages. Where are you getting the crash report you mentioned?
