welcome! my first distro was mint a year ago and they were awesome but, you will be so spoiled by the aur repository you will never want to leave garuda.

Haha that's already happening, my other laptop which has Mint on it feels like such a hassle to use in comparison. When I upgrade packages on it, I have to go to the individual websites and upgrade them with the packages there instead of just pulling them from the AUR... what a bother

Packages used in the official spins that are not included in the Arch repos are pulled from the Chaotic AUR, for which the repos are included in all Garuda spins by default.
