Audio Stopped working at kernel 6.8.5

After this last update, sound output has vanished. I do see a Pro Audio option but getting no sound on output. Providing inxi below:

Since the problem as you suspect has happened due to a kernel update have you tried to change to LTS kernel?

sudo pacman -S linux-lts linux-lts-headers

The headers are important for a kernel to compile dkms modules against it.

While booting from grub screen use arrow keys to go to the advanced options inside it choose the LTS kernel boot with it. If it fixes your issue make it your default kernel for the time being by using garuda boot options.

Some services (e.g. pipewire) require a restart after a kernel update, either by rebooting the system or manually using systemctl (if a reboot is not an option).
Reboot and check again.

Edit: In addition, wireplumber must have been included in the update. Try a reboot.

seems the last update worked with a reboot. Thanks again.
